When it comes to MP3 players, it seems as thought the choice is even less of a no-brainer than the choice for phones – in which there is a huge debate amongst consumers between Blackberry and iPhone.
 If you consider that there really are no MP3 players to rival the iPod range from Apple, then of course the problem comes in, in choosing just which iPod to get?
If you’re an iPhone user, then getting the iPod touch seems a silly idea, unless perhaps you choose to use the iPod touch as a ‘home’ ipod that the whole family can use, or that the kids can each use to play their various array of apps.
In fact suddenly the idea of having one iPod Touch per child suddenly seems like a fabulous idea, unless, as a parent you don’t mind surrendering your phone to the toddler who will no doubt figure out more of it’s intricacies within seconds than you could within years, or at least until the next model is released!
If you’re still undecided, and because of price constraints have decided against the iPod touch, then reading some ipod reviews is a good way of learning about the intricacies of each different model, through testimonials of customers who have already got the model in question.
One important thing to note, about the iPod Nano, is that it now shoots video. That is *always* plus. These days everyone is an on the spot journalist/blogger/twitterer and being able to shoot video on the fly is a feature that should not be discounted in a hurry…
I wonder when the new iPod Touch will be released? I’m sure they’ll want to keep up with their new iPhone 4′s sleek new aluminum look.

I love my Macbook.
It’s 2.5 years old and it’s still a major workhorse.
I’m running Tiger OS X.
It runs CS4 like a much bigger, stronger machine. Like a dream in fact. The smaller system memory places no limitations on its capabilities at all.
 But here’s the thing. I don’t want to spend money on a larger monitor, when in reality I’d rather put that money towards my dream machine.
Because my dream machine will do several things, that my trusty macbook can’t.
No I’m not going to go into a lengthy explanation of system specs and operating system improvements, all I’m referring to is that wide, beautiful, 24 inches of viewing pleasure.
Having space to display my photographs, and my editing toolbars without hunching over to see them, down on my little screen.
*That* is, in a nutshell, what I’m after.
Have I ever mentioned before how much I want an iPhone 3G S too? Yeah, if anyone at Apple is listening and feeling generous, I would be *most* grateful, and most verbose, loquatious and chatty about the brilliance of Apple technology for EVER MORE.

My gut feeling when it comes to cellular phones is that yes, it is.
 I mean look at it! If you’re a Mac user, it’s a no brainer. The iPhone. Is. It.
But then I looked closer. Given the country I’m in, and the exhorbitive cost of internet bandwidth, and cellular phone contracts, a phone that offers you unlimited on device browsing (as opposed to the 250mb limit on the iphone imposed by cellular service providers in this stupid country), seems like a far more logical choice.
But, I have a solution.
Cellular providers in this country have chosen to limit the on device internet usage of a phone SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR BROWSING THE INTERNET, and yes, that is BEYOND DUMB.
So, me?
I’m leaving the country.
Problem?

- Open in Adobe Photoshop (tested in versions CS and CS4) or Adobe Photoshop Elements
- Open the photograph you want to frame.
- Click on the move tool, drag your photo onto the frame.

There is a local computer store, which is part of a chain ’round these parts.
I used to love to shop there. The shop assistants were true geeks. Helpful geeks. This was back in the day before I had a Mac.
Then they went and got regular dumbass shop assistants. I knew more than them (maybe it was me that got smarter I don’t know), assistants that had to go and ‘ask someone’ the answer to my question, and then leave me standing on the shop floor for way too long.
Then they got pricey.
So guess what happened? Of Course.
I simply stopped shopping there.
Then I got a Mac, and not only did I NOT shop there, I told everyone else to stop shopping there too. Because they sucked.
Let’s fast forward a moment to yesterday. With my youngest at day care (half day) as of this week, I suddenly found myself with some time on my hands (after working for 2 hours straight at a local wifi hotspot on a clients website), and a little time to kill in the mall before fetching my eldest from school. So I ventured inside.
OMG.
They are now a certified Apple dealer.
They had a real 20″ iMac on display, ready for me to fawn over.
They now sell Mac software (though the range is VERY thin).
They have a trade in deal going on now. As in bring in your old hardware, and we’ll give you discount on new hardware.
The deal they were offering on the iMac was cheaper than if I had it sent out from the USA.
I was honestly and totally gobsmacked. They’re no longer sucky, evil, highly priced, corporate asses.
They’re enlightened, community uplifting, school donating (the old hardware), ecologically aware, DISCOUNTING, MARVELS!
I was and still am surprised. Way to go Incredible Connection! You have a new supporter in me! Now if they just had some tv deals for me to look at too, I’d probably be back there today again.

Were these not like *so* pretty? I just like to look at this picture. It is positively zen like. I wonder if there’s a hallway somewhere at Apple Mac HQ where they have like a series of all the former apple posters lined up in a row, if the do, I’d love to see it. I’d get as much a kick out of photographing these as I do photographing wedding flowers. SO PRETTY!

 Apple iPhone Seriously.
Obviously, I’m a huge Mac fan. All their products aside from being brilliant innovations in technology, are BEAUTIFUL.
Seriously. When last did you look at one of their new products? Or even old products? Gorgeous I tell you.
So of course I don’t so much as want an iPhone, as really, really need one. But I’m patient, at least.
I’ve had a run of bad luck with cell phones lately. Seriously.
I had a Samsung E350. I loved it. One day I saw it going round and round and round in that little window in the washing machine. Sadly, she did not make it, and her cold lifeless steel body is nothing but a dummy phone, destined to spend the remainder of her days in a display case somewhere, merely pretending to be real.
So I replaced Samsung E250 with Sony Ericsson something.
She was quite cool looking, given her reasonable price. A teal colored flip phone. Her ring tones rocked my world. Real Music at last!
One day I switched her off, just a month after we first met, only to have her vibrate feebly in my hands when I tried to switch her on again. She is *still* in that no mans land, where all the socks and paperclips go, that is ‘cell phone repair land’.
So, I bought Sony Ericsson replacement phone. Determined not to get too attached to her, I didn’t personalize her all that much. Just two weeks after we first adopted one another, I had to jump into my pool fully clothed (with her in my jeans pocket) to fish Reebok out of the pool – (he’d slipped off the step where he was playing and I was watching from – thank god he was totally ok, just coughing and spluttering a bit), less than 3 seconds in the water and pffft. Nada.
In total despair I told MacHubby of my misfortune. After berating me for doing something SO STUPID AS KEEPING MY PHONE IN MY POCKET FOR BUCKETS SAKES, he suddenly whipped out one of his old phones, also of the Sony Ericsson sisterhood. A phone so funky it even took a micro sd card! So she keeps me company now, while I wait for Teal Sony Ericsson to reappear.
But really, none of this would have happened if I’d had an iPhone. I just know it. Because instead of treating you with utter disdain (like PC’s and other technological brands), I just know my iPhone would love me back

Wonders will never cease, I totally love this!
 Star Wars App for iPhone Yes! It’s a Star Wars application for your iPhone available at the Apple iPhone App Store. Now I have not had the pleasure of testing it myself, but apparently a motion sensor built in, allows you to make realistic light sabre sounds as you swish your phone around.
I just know that your imagination is running wild right now – just think about that next boring meeting…leaping to your feet, striking the appropriate Jedi pose, and ‘switching’ on your ‘phonesabre’ and swinging it up as if in preparation to strike that annoying bloke from accounting that keeps screwing with your funding.
Ahhh…have I told you before just how much I love Apple?

Discovery of the Century!
I feel like I’ve made the discovery of the century! Although realistically speaking you probably already know this, and I’ve just been doing an “Ostrich” and had my head stuck in the sand, or somewhere else less pleasant…
I just found an online retailer, that carries Apple products (and no, not just iPods), as in Mac Mini, MacBook, iMac – the whole bang shoot. Now my excitement is because….
THEY ACCEPT PAYPAL!!!!!! (Do a little dance… make a little love…get down tonight!) – Yes I just did a jig right here in front my MacBook. What this means, to me personally, is that I am a WHOLE lot closer to my goal of that shiny new Aluminum encased beauty with a 24″ screen that we all know I deserve.
Now if someone could point me in the direction of some software/widget that will generate a nice sidebar widget for me, showing a graph, of how close I’m getting to my goal, I’d be most grateful.
