I never finished my university degree.

I didn’t like what I was studying at the time, changed courses twice, and decided to call it quits. I realise in hindsight that at the tender age of 17  I was simply not emotionally ready to be facing university.

Nowadays one has SO many more choices than we did when I was leaving school. Had I had the opportunity to do an online degree I would have jumped at it!  I have browsed many course catalogs, from numerous universities over the years, always tempted to return to my studies. I was really interested to find the online teaching degree offered by Western Governors University.

The number one point that really stood out for me, is that they are a fully accredited online education institution, and as a non-profit organisation they are much more affordable than other online universities.  Now while earning a degree is an intense process, knowing that this one is more affordable, makes it all the more interesting.

One thing I have learned in the last few years is that if you want to take on a project like this, finish your degree, earn one from scratch, or develop your life by educating yourself, then the only thing stopping you, is you. If you really want something badly enough, then there is absolutely no reason not to give it your all.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, either way you’re absolutely right!
